André Maurois (tên lúc sinh là Émile Salomon Wilhelm Herzog; sinh ngày 26 tháng 7 năm 1885 – mất ngày 9 tháng 10 năm 1967) là một tác giả người Pháp. Maurois sinh tại Elbeuf và học tại Lycée Pierre Corneille ở Rouen, cả hai đều thuộc Normandy. Maurois là con trai của ông Ernest Herzog, một nhà sản xuất dệt may người Do Thái, và bà Alice (Lévy-Rueff) Herzog. Gia đình ông chạy trốn khỏi Alsace sau khi nổ ra cuộc chiến tranh Pháp-Phổ giai đoạn 1870–1871 và tị nạn tại Normandy, ở đó, họ sở hữu một xưởng dệt ở Elbeuf.
